The Program
Red Stick CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program designed to develop individuals, athletes, and teams to reach elite levels of fitness. Our program efficiently combines quality coaching and the most effective training methods in order to reach maximum results. There isn’t a strength and conditioning program anywhere that works with a greater diversity of equipment and modalities. Our workouts consist of constantly varied functional movements executed at high intensity.
The Tribe
At Red Stick CrossFit we train hard; real hard, and we leave our inner Eores and egos out the door. Together we sweat, we bleed, we overcome weakness, and we get “faster, stronger, fitter.” Though our training is intense, it is scaleable for all fitness levels, whether you be stay at home mom, a member of the military, a firefighter, a competitive athlete, student, corporate executive, or just your average joe, there is a place for you at Red Stick CrossFit.
Everyday our athletes break down barriers and set new standards for themselves. Whether it be shedding pounds, building muscle, lifting more weight, running faster than the other guy, or just maintaining a healthy lifestyle – Red Stick CrossFit has and will continue to watch it’s athletes succeed.

The Gym
When you walk through the doors of Baton Rouge’s oldest CrossFit affiliate, Red Stick CrossFit, which is located at 3079-C Government St. in Mid-City Baton Rouge, you won’t find any treadmills or ellipticals; so don’t be disappointed. Instead, expect to find old school equipment that’s tried and true along with some items that may surprise you. Picture a no frills 3500+ square feet historic warehouse that is 100% CrossFit -with medicine balls on the floor, 15 foot climbing ropes hanging from the ceiling, pull up bars attached to I-beams, squat racks, bumper plates made of recycled rubber, olympic bars on gun racks, kettlebells lining the walls, monster truck sized tires with sledgehammers nearby, olympic rings and boxes, and more. Not your typical first impression of a gym? Red Stick CrossFit is not your ordinary gym.
We do however, offer quality coaching and a close-knit community. If you have the desire to work hard and encourage others, you will find a place at Red Stick CrossFit!

Philosophy
At Red Stick CrossFit, it’s not just your fitness that matters, it’s your attitude. Fitness has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety. From experience, we’ve found that the fitter a person is, the more positive attitude he/she has, allowing him/her to “live life to the fullest”. Whether it be racing through a blazing fire on one tank of air or being a middle school teacher by day and a toddler chaser by night – Physical fitness is real. It is necessary. It is inspiring. It not only adds years to your life, it adds life to your years. We, at Red Stick CrossFit, believe fitness is attitude!
